Job Opportunities

Full-time 2nd shift opening in our Supported Living program based in Groton.  Approximately 30-35 hours per week.  Provide support to people in their homes.  Assist with meals, cleaning, personal care, shopping, driving to recreation and appointments.  Must be able to work independently and have good time managment and computer sills.  Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate.

Looking for short-term, intermittent or temporary work?  We have a need for substitute staff to work in all of our programs. 

  • Quaker Hill Day Program - 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Old Saybrook Day Program - 8:30am - 3:00pm Monday - Friday
  • Individual Day Program - 9:00am - 5:00pm daily
  • Supported Living Program (Groton) 2nd and 3rd shift daily
  • Temporary full-time - Supported Living - 2nd shift Tuesday - Saturday for 2 months beginning end of April. 

Qualified candidates will have 

  • relevant experience with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or behavioral health needs.
  • CPR/First Aid and be Med Certified
  • Own Transporation
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency

 Volunteer with UCP

One to One Visitor
We have opportunities to volunteer in both our Day Programs as well as Supported Living. Activities could be:

  • taking a walk
  • playing a game
  • working on a craft
  • baking
  • watching a movie

You can make a pleasant difference!

Performing Artists
Do you have a special talent and would like to share it with others? You could perform for 5-30 people. This could be your big break or a great way to rehearse!

Fundraising
There are opportunities to help us raise funds and awareness for people with disabilities. Selling UCP products, solicitation, or assisting us at our annual golf tournament. Please call now!
